The Embedded Shell — Wall art hollowed shell travertine relief

A travertine slab carries at its centre a deep hollow, at the bottom of which rests a pearlescent form, like a fossil freed but not extracted. The surround has been left raw. The Embedded Shell shows the precise instant when stone gives up what it was keeping.
