A sheer curtain filtering the sun, the soft shadow of a doorway, the golden light of a late afternoon: the shadow and light wall art poster captures these suspended moments, so particular to southern homes. Discover our selection of luminous designs, all in delicacy.

It is the most Mediterranean subject there is, and the hardest to photograph. In the south, light does not merely illuminate: it draws. A shutter casts its slats across a plaster wall, palm foliage cuts the floor into a fan, a linen drape filters the sun and turns it liquid. These compositions capture the precise moment when shadow becomes pattern.

Their appeal in decoration is a particular one: they bring movement to a motionless wall. An entirely mineral or monochrome interior can look frozen — a shadow and light poster reintroduces the hour of the day and the feeling of the outdoors.
