The Fig Relief — Wall art plaster bas-relief fig leaf Mediterranean

A fig branch carved in bas-relief into an ivory plaster panel, set flush into the wall. The lobes of the leaves catch the raking light, the shadows of an unseen foliage pass above — The Fig Relief captures the tension between the plant fixed in matter and the one still moving outside.

Picture this poster in your living room, entryway or study, on a pale plaster wall. It brings a sculptural presence and a rare tactile softness, the kind found in the ornaments of old farmhouses and in capitals worn down by weather.
