The Mediterranean stone par excellence. Its discreet horizontal veins, in cream and sand tones, make it the easiest stone effect to live with: it dresses a wall without overloading it. It is the right choice for a dining room, a living room, an entrance.

Onyx

More spectacular: large undulations, pronounced veins, an almost translucent material. Onyx turns a wall into a centrepiece. Best kept for the main wall of a living room, with simple furniture in front.

Sandstone and strata

In between: layers of sediment, ripples, lines of sand. These designs have a horizontal rhythm that visually lengthens a wall — useful in a narrow room or one with a low ceiling.

Why a stone effect wallpaper

How to show it off

Stone is read through light. Light the wall from the side — a wall lamp, a floor lamp placed to one side — rather than head-on: the veins take on relief. A warm light (2,700 K) brings out the honey and sand tones.

In front, materials that speak to the stone: camel leather, dark or light wood, bouclé wool, ceramics. Avoid other strong patterns in the same room: the stone is already the decor.
