The rules for a successful gallery wall

How to hang a gallery wall?

For a standard sofa (180–200 cm), 2 or 3 posters in 50×70 cm or 40×50 cm is the most balanced composition. The total width of the gallery wall should be about two-thirds the width of the sofa. For a large sofa (240+ cm), 3 posters in 50×70 cm or an A1 + 2 × 40×50 cm composition works well.
Should frames be identical for a gallery wall?
In a minimalist Mediterranean interior, yes — identical frames (all natural oak, or all frameless) provide immediate visual coherence. Mixing frame styles creates visual cacophony that detracts from the composition. Choose one type and stick to it.
What is the distance between posters in a gallery wall?
