Two formats go beyond A1, on a selection of our designs: the 61 × 91 cm, as a poster or in a solid oak frame, and the 70 × 100 cm, as a poster. This is the scale that lets a single piece hold its own above a three-seater sofa or a double bed, with no need for company. These designs are gathered in the Large Format Poster collection.
The simplest rule of proportion: a single piece ideally covers two thirds of the width of the furniture it hangs above. The center of the image sits at eye level, around 145 cm from the floor. The 70 × 100 cm, offered as a poster. Just below it comes the 61 × 91 cm, available as a poster or in a solid oak frame. These two formats exist on a selection of our designs, gathered in the Large Format Poster collection. Across the rest of the catalog, the largest format is A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm). A single A1 will look small there. Two options go the distance: a 70 × 100 cm on its own as a focal point, or a composition — a triptych of 50 × 70 (about 190 cm wide including the spacing) or a gallery wall of 4-5 posters around a central large format.
For a 61 × 91 or 70 × 100 poster: use two spaced hanging points. For 61 × 91, choose the framed version only when it is offered. Keep the poster flat against the wall and avoid leaving it rolled for too long before hanging — see our hanging guide.
