Terracotta is the colour of sun-baked earth — warm, enveloping, deeply Mediterranean. A terracotta poster instantly warms up an interior and gives it character, without ever weighing it down. Discover our selection of earth-toned posters, from the softest to the most intense.

Which colours go with terracotta? Beige and sand remain the safest companions: they soften the intensity of fired clay without extinguishing it, and it is the pairing most used in Mediterranean interiors. Ivory and cream create a luminous contrast that visually enlarges the room. For a more botanical pairing, sage green and olive green answer terracotta naturally, like an olive tree planted in red earth. Finally, stone and travertine tones bring a neutral mineral base that lets terracotta speak for itself.

Terracotta works particularly well in living spaces, where its warmth immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere: our decorating ideas for the living room and our inspirations for the entrance hall. In a bedroom, favour the softest shades, salmon or rosy clay: our inspirations for the bedroom.
